Cosplay
I like playing computer games and I take it one step further by creating costumes. Cosplay is similar to making a Halloween costume though usually inspired by a character from a video game or TV show.

This Half-Life Gordon Freeman was my first costume. I learned as I made the costume with help from my parents. I used foam to make the suit and then we did a combination of painting and metallic spray painting to colour it. The crowbar was made of rubber wrapped in red tape.

This was probably the most elaborate costume I've made so far. I used more of the foam from the last costume and then wrapped it in leather. I ordered a 3D printed mask and painted it. Then I spray painted 'nerf' shotguns for a costume of a futuristic Overwatch Grim Reaper

This was the coolest one I've built because it's a 3ft long laser gun - The DOOM BFG. I used layers of insulation foam to make a huge rectangular prism I then trimmed it down from there to make the behemoth of a gun. I then installed led lights along the sides to make it glow!

I love the second Bladerunner movie. For this costume, I used a 3d printed replica of Officer K’s gun and wore a similar jacket with dark jeans and a t-shirt.
